Amanda utilizes careful assessment with a unique brain-based, strengths-based approach that offers hope and encouragement to people who are suffering, struggling, or just feeling stuck in a negative place. Using a systemic approach to treatment, Amanda takes into consideration each client’s biological, psychological, and social contexts. Her therapy room is a safe haven where you can lay down your burdens and gain insight with non-judgmental support. Amanda has specific experience and training in working with children (play and sandtray therapy trained) and in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with difficult relationships, depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-worth, grief and loss, trauma (EMDR trained), and personal development.
Originally from Kansas, Amanda enjoys all the beautiful nature found in Colorado. When not working as a therapist, she is likely relaxing with her husband and her adorable Goldendoodle. She loves spending her free time painting, playing D&D, and taking gentle walks.
