Cynthia Boffa-Schmidt

LCSW
location-pin Colorado Springs

Cynthia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Colorado Springs location.

Navigating discomfort, battling self-doubt, and embracing change can feel like scaling mountains. If you resonate with this journey, I invite you to step into a safe space for therapeutic healing. Here, trust, honesty, and dismantling shame pave the path forward. I believe in the resilience and strength of the human spirit while creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, heal from past traumas, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

As a dedicated therapist using evidence-based practices, I am committed to journeying alongside my clients, empowering them to rewrite their stories and reclaim their self-worth. Fostering genuine connections where vulnerability is celebrated, and laughter and authenticity are encouraged as the gateway to growth. Together, let's embark on a journey where your story finds its voice and your resilience becomes your greatest asset. Welcome to a space where healing begins, and self-discovery flourishes.

Professionally, I bring a background of working with adolescents and their families from vulnerable populations who are experiencing difficulties with the Juvenile Justice System, the Department of Human Services, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, adolescent conduct, and emotional dysregulation disorders.

Personally, I am a mother of three, a Gold Star spouse and the current military spouse of a retired Army officer, I understand the military community and the unique challenges that come with it.

When not working as a therapist, I like spending time with my husband, traveling with our three dogs, or having a “therapeutic Netflix® binge.”
