She/Her
Liz is a therapist in our Aurora location. She is a warm and quirky therapist who works to create a compassionate and affirmative space for folks so they can share their experiences and work towards personal goals. She believes that change begins with self awareness and fosters the use of mindfulness, curiosity and psychoeducation to help clients build confidence in understanding how they interact with themselves, their environment and their social systems. Liz comes from a background working in DBT and with in-home populations and enjoys working with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, BPD, relationship problems, addiction and grief. She engages clients in building confidence and building a positive self-identity, by increasing regulation skills, building healthy relationships and gaining insight into ineffective coping strategies.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys all things in nature, including paddleboarding, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with furry critters. She loves laughing, trying new foods and enjoys a wide variety of music.
