Hi, I'm Michelle, and I believe therapy can give you the tools to be smart, resourceful, and a little mischievous – helping you outfox your worries and find clever ways to thrive! No matter the struggle you are going through, whether it be anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, or overwhelming emotions, there are ways to not only cope with life's challenges but also build meaning. I want to help you find your life worth living.
What does that look like? It's up to you, because when it comes to my therapeutic approach, I do my best to meet you a few steps ahead of where you're at, hand extended and ready to guide you to where you want to be. Through skills-building, I work to help you challenge unhelpful thinking, learn healthier coping strategies, and focus on your values. By teaching you to use these skills effectively, I aim to empower you to handle any future challenges you may face with confidence in your ability to do so, even if you don't think you can find that confidence right now.
Therapy can be intimidating, especially when starting with a new therapist. I try to make the transition as easy as possible for everyone. Therapy doesn't always have to be painful or unpleasant, and it doesn't have to last for years. If you are willing to put in the work, I am eager to help get you to where you want to be in life.
