Peak Psychological Services

Tricare Preferred Therapists

Peak Psychological Services approaches your treatment differently than the average therapist. We use evidence-based therapy which means we do not listen idly by as you pour your heart out, nodding our heads from time to time. We treat you so that you can start living instead of surviving. We teach you the skills needed and reveal the inner resources that you already have, to help you build a life worth living.

Doesn’t every
therapist offer this?

Unfortunately, no. Not all therapists use evidence-based treatments. Which means that your treatment may or may not be effective. In some cases, it can even be harmful. This is like going to your medical doctors. You hope that they would prescribe medication that has been shown to be effective not just any old medication that they made themselves or happened to come across somewhere. Right?

IT’S TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE AND START LIVING INSTEAD OF SURVIVING.

When you are suffering, you may feel like you aren’t living a life worth living. You may feel overwhelmed and think there is nothing you can do to get better and stay better. But, you are here, looking for solutions, and Peak Psychological Services can help.

Peak Psychological Services is not your pre-conceived notion of therapy. That image you have in your head of lying on a couch, venting your problems to a stranger is not what we do. We provide counseling to treat the underlying issues of your problem, helping you to move past your suffering and find long-term relief.

We offer both teletherapy and in person counseling options with four locations in Colorado.

We Offer Teletherapy Options

The importance of telehealth in managing mental health in our ever-changing world.

Have you found yourself thinking about starting counseling but the thought of wearing a mask into a medical office is a little off-putting? Or maybe you have thought about doing counseling online but find it weird?

Now more than ever before, people are turning to telehealth as a way to support their physical and mental health. For people living with a mental health diagnosis, one of these ways is teletherapy.

Teletherapy provides mental health practitioners a way to meet with their clients virtually in times when an in-person visit is not possible. This could be due to circumstances like what we now face, but there are many other reasons teletherapy is important.
